- The Very Reverend Alfred Douglas Buchanan M.A. R.D. He was the Rector of Mountmellick and Coolbanagher from 1956 – 1963 and Rosenallis and Cloneslee from 1957 – 1963. Rev.Buchanan went on to become the Dean of St Brigids Cathedral, Kildare in 1963.
